Preserving Advanced Material

We place a strong emphasis on preserving the factory rock slider armor, a crucial component of Rivian’s underbody protection system, it made from polypropylene material featuring lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and highly impact-resistant. True to this standard, from the moment EVBASE engineering team disassembled the first factory rock slider armor, our development team spent three months rigorously testing materials. After extensive comparisons, EVBASE engineer selected a modified polypropylene resin to ensure our new armors protect panels meets the same standards in deformation resistance, temperature tolerance (-22°F to 248°F), and sustainability. 

Millimeter-Perfect  

Proudly Engineering.Using 3D laser scanning technology, we digitally reconstructed the armors protect panels with 0.1mm precision. To accommodate step board installations, we redesigned the mounting points while ensuring a perfect fit with Rivian’s underbody. EVBASE engineering team collected on-site measurement data in the U.S. on the Rivian R1S-2025 underbody, developing a solution that utilizes the factory bolt system. This eliminates the need for additional drilling and enables a quick, one-person installation. Attention to detail is paramount!
